Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 6, 2026
In short: Meu Cantinho has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of ours. Everything you put into the app — items, photos, videos, voice notes, locations, costs — is stored only on your iPhone. We cannot see it, and we do not want to.
Who we are
Meu Cantinho is made by Paper Sparrow, Inc. ("we," "us"). For anything in this policy, contact us at feedback@papersparrow.studio.
Data the app stores — on your device only
Everything you create in Meu Cantinho is stored locally on your iPhone:
- Maintenance items, notes, statuses, tags, areas, and the people you assign them to
- Photos, videos, and voice notes you capture or attach
- Costs and dates you log
- GPS coordinates, if you've granted location permission when capturing an item
- Property names, addresses, and notes you enter
None of this is transmitted to us or to any analytics service. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports tied to your identity, advertising identifiers, or behavioral data.
Subscriptions and purchases
If you subscribe to Meu Cantinho Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple under your Apple ID. We never see your name, email, or payment details. To validate your subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, which receives an anonymous, randomly generated app identifier and Apple's purchase receipt — nothing that identifies you personally. RevenueCat's handling of this data is described in their privacy policy.
Device permissions
The app asks for permissions only when a feature needs them, and every one is optional:
- Camera & microphone — to capture photos, videos, and voice notes. Used only when you tap the capture controls.
- Photo library — to attach existing images you choose.
- Location — to tag an item with where it was captured, so it can appear on the map view. Captured at the moment you take the photo, stored locally, never transmitted.
- Notifications — for local reminders you enable (target-date reminders, overdue digest, re-engagement nudges). These are scheduled on your device; no push server is involved.
Sharing
When you share an item, the app composes a summary and hands it to the iOS share sheet. What happens next is governed by the app you share to (WhatsApp, Mail, iMessage, etc.). Nothing is shared unless you explicitly initiate it.
Backups
Your data is included in your iPhone's standard iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. That backup is managed by Apple under your Apple ID and Apple's privacy terms — we have no access to it.
Data security and deletion
Your data is protected by iOS Data Protection — encrypted by the operating system while your device is locked. Deleting an item, photo, or property in the app permanently removes it from your device; there are no hidden copies on our side, because there is no "our side." Uninstalling the app deletes all of its local data.
Children
Meu Cantinho is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone — including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data (for example, if a future version adds optional sync), we will update this policy and note the new effective date at the top before the change ships.
